NWS HAS EXTENDED THE FLASH FLOOD WATCH FOR FRANKLIN COUNTY UNTIL 8 PM EDT THIS EVENING.

THE FLASH FLOOD WATCH IS NOW IN EFFECT FOR

* PORTIONS OF CENTRAL OHIO...MIAMI VALLEY OF OHIO AND WEST

  CENTRAL OHIO...INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING AREAS...IN CENTRAL

  OHIO...DELAWARE...FAIRFIELD...FRANKLIN OH...HOCKING...

  LICKING...PICKAWAY AND UNION OH. IN MIAMI VALLEY OF OHIO...

  LOGAN. IN WEST CENTRAL OHIO...AUGLAIZE AND HARDIN.

* UNTIL 8 PM EDT THIS EVENING

* SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP AGAIN THIS AFTERNOON.

  RAINFALL WILL OCCUR OVER AREAS THAT ALREADY SAW HEAVY RAIN OVER

  THE LAST SEVERAL DAYS. MORE SHOWERS MAY OCCUR TONIGHT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH MEANS THAT FLOODING OF SMALL STREAMS...

CREEKS AND OTHER DRAINAGE AREAS IS POSSIBLE WITHIN THE WATCH

AREA. PEOPLE IN THE WATCH AREA SHOULD KEEP AN EYE ON THE WEATHER

AND BE PREPARED FOR IMMEDIATE ACTION SHOULD HEAVY RAINS AND

FLOODING OCCUR OR A FLASH FLOOD WARNING BE ISSUED.
