Hoover Dam Body Identified-Media Release

On Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at approximately 1:19pm, Blendon Township police and fire units were dispatched to the Walnut Boat Ramp at Hoover Reservoir on a report of a body in the water that had been found by fishermen.


On arrival Medics recovered the body of a male, white subject from shallow water approximately 20 feet from shore and pronounced him dead at the scene.


Blendon Township Police and Detective officers, working in conjunction with a forensic investigator from the Office of the Franklin County Coroner, were able to positively identify the deceased as Trilochan S. Luthra, 70 years old, of Blacklick, Ohio.
