Blendon Township has several parks available for family fun.

 

Ridgewood Park is located on Buenos Aires Blvd. just north of State Route 161. This park features a volleyball court, shelter house, gazebo, playground equipment and beautiful walking trails.

Phelps Acre is located on the corner of Dempsey Road at Hempstead Road. This park offers benches, swings and relaxation. Plans are underway to rehabilitate the park with potential grant money from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources.

The Sunbury Commons park located off Valley Quail Blvd is a beautiful park. The park has benches, playground equipment and built in grills for family enjoyment.

Hoover Dam is a main drinking water source for the City of Columbus. Although owned by the City of Columbus, the dam and recreational areas remain in Blendon Township. Hoover Dam is a great place to fish, boat and relax. (Any parks reservations or questions for Hoover Dam should be directed to the City of Columbus)
