Police Activity; Thursday December 11, 2014

9am - Sticker placed on a car that has been parked for several days on Madrid Dr.

11:45am - Suspicious person checked at Sunbury Plaza. Sitting there a long time. Officers talked to the person. No criminal activity.

12:14pm - Report of a trailer tag stolen sometime last Monday or Tuesday from a trailer on Valley Quail North.

2:12pm - Report of a vehicle stolen from the lot of a business on Westerville Road.

2:56pm - Male subject ran from undercover officers in the area of the Taco Bell on Sunbury Rd. Apprehended by BTPD Officers after trying to break into an apartment and jumping off a balcony at Lake Forest Apartments (Columbus jurisdiction). North east corner Sunbury & SR 161.

4:43pm - Report of a trailer stolen from a residence on Cherokee Rose. Taken between 5pm on the 11th and 4:30pm on the 12th.

11:58pm - Assist FCSO. Deputies tried to stop a traffic violator. Driver fled in vehicle, then jumped out and fled on foot near our Cleveland Heights neighborhood. Our officers helped hold the perimeter while the County K9 searched. Subject not located.

Other; 2 non-injury crashes, 1 telephone harassment, THREAT; online threat posted targeting a school. No specific school threated. Posted from a Westerville location so all WCSD schools got extra police protection throughout the day. Investigation is being handled by Westerville PD.
