Police Activity; Wednesday, October 28, 2015

7:35am - Cat in a tree on Panama Dr.; Fire Dept responded as well.  Unable to locate. 

8:00am - SR 3/Paris Blvd.; disabled vehicle, pushed to berm.

12:51pm - Non-injury crash; occurred on private property, information exchanged.

1:27pm - Paris Blvd/Vienna Dr.; originally dispatched as a "robbery in progress" turned out to be a dispute between husband and wife.  Both declined report/charges; each given courtesy ride to separate locations to cool off. 

5:45pm - Makassar Dr.; Solicitor without permit.  IGS energy employee advised on permit requirement. 

6:18pm - Reported threat from unknown party at business on Morse Rd.  Report declined.

7:19pm - Columbus Police Dispatch received threats of harm against officers and suicide threat from subject in Huber Ridge.  Subject was arrested and turned over to CPD for mental health evaluation (male, age 39).  

8:35pm - Report of threats from known party at business on Sunbury Rd.

8:359pm - 5 vehicles broken into and items removed from a church on Cleveland Ave.  Reports taken. 

11:00pm - Alarm at business on Cleveland Ave.; on arrival, officers found broken glass. No entry made.  Investigation continues. 

1:43am - Kilbourne Ave; report of subject breaking into vehicles and removing property.  Officers checked the area, located and arrested a male, age 32.  Stolen property was recovered and male was taken to jail on charges include felony theft and possession of criminal tools.  Possibly related to earlier thefts, investigation continues.  Great work 3rd shift!  :)

2:35am - Non-injury, hit-skip; parked car struck in parking lot on Sunbury Rd.
