Weekend Police Activity; 20-21-22 November 2015


8:58 am – Injury crash; SR3 & Corporate Dr.

11:05 am – Report of shots fired on Highbrook Court from the previous night. Shell casings found. Under investigation.

10:22 pm – Pedestrian struck; SR3 & Dempsey. Male subject transported by medics, serious but not life threatening. Driver of the involved vehicle and several other witnesses stopped and gave statements. Under investigation.

Other Friday; 2 thefts (internal), 1 medical issue.


5:53 am – BTPD Officer observed a suspicious person on the lot of a closed used car lot on Westerville Rd. Officer pulled in and found two cars running, one with plates, one without. Suspicious person had fled the scene. Officer contacted owner who said no employees were on the lot. Officer most likely disrupted a theft in-progress. Area checked, subject not located. Under investigation.

9:51 am – Injury crash; SR3 & I-270.

11:21 am – Non-injury crash; Executive Parkway.

11:33 am – Non-injury crash; SR3 & I-270.

2:16 pm – Report of littering from a motor vehicle (beer cans) on Cubbage Road. Officer attempted to make contact with the subject vehicle owner. No answer at the door.

7:58 pm – Report of a vehicle on the side of the road at Sunbury & SR161 with a passed-out driver. Vehicle located unoccupied.

9:33 pm – Injury crash; Sunbury under I-270.

Other Saturday; 1 false alarm, 1 stand-by for custody exchange.


2:17 am – Disturbance at a bar at Glengarry Center. No charges, two subjects told to leave.

7:11 am – Report of a suspicious vehicle running on Batavia Road. Made contact and arrested the male driver, age 38,  for OVI.

4:31 pm – Report of a suspicious blue mini-van on Copenhagen Drive. Area checked, not located.

4:49 pm – Hoover Dam Park. Arrested a female driver, age 25, for OVI and possession of marijuana.

9:25 pm – Report of a prowler looking in a bedroom window on Brooklyn Road. Male, black subject in dark clothes, fled on foot westbound into the woods. Area checked, not located.

Other Sunday; 2 assist other agency (back up), 2 false alarms, 1 suicide threat, 1 open door, 1 open hatch back on a vehicle (owner advised).
