Police Activity; February 6, 7, 8, 2015

Friday / Early Saturday morning:

1:25pm Clybourne Road, assist parent with unruly teen.

5:40pm Westerville Road, caller reports teens in the area asking for a ride, request officers check on them, gone prior to officers’ arrival.

12:47 am Panama Drive, caller reports unoccupied vehicle left running for over an hour.  Officers located vehicle owner and car was turned off.

1:06 am Sunbury Road, assist FCSO with the arrest of a wanted person.

2:30 am Caller reports reckless operator, possible impaired driver in the area of Dempsey Road and Westerville Road. Vehicle located.  Not impaired, however issued citation for other offense.

2:27 am Caller reports suspicious vehicle at Ridgewood Park.  Officers located and made contact with two occupants, a male 18 year old and female 16 year old.  Female taken home by officers and turned over to parents.

2:57 am Caller reports she discovered known person made suicidal threats via social media.   With the assistance of Franklin County Sheriff’s Office and Licking County Sheriff’s Office, this person was discovered to have been involved in a car crash in Licking County. He was  transported to local hospital and later released.

3:14 am Rangoon Drive, caller reported suspicious vehicle. Officer located vehicle and made contact with the driver.  Driver was found to be in possession of suspected marijuana.  A friend of the driver arrived on scene and was found to be have a warrant through Blendon Township. He was taken to the clerk’s office to post bond.  The driver was issued a summons and released.

4:56 am Lima Drive, caller reports someone knocking on her door.  The caller provided a physical description.  Person matching that description was found walking and identified.  He was then transported home.

Saturday:

1:03 pm Rockingham Ct., assist parent with unruly teen.  Teen found to have warrant for Incorrigible and was taken to the detention center.

2:27 pm Westerville Road,  Caller found a gun in a repossessed car that he wanted to turn over to police.

1:19 am Rockingham Ct, teen from earlier walked away from reception center.  Arrested and taken to detention center.

4:08 pm Westerville Road, found wallet in the roadway.  Impounded, currently seeking owner.

10:13 pm Sunbury Road, customer dispute, all ok upon officers arrival. 

10:35 pm, 161 & Sunbury, male walking with gas can.  Officers gave him a ride.

Sunday/Early Monday morning:

10:10 am Vienna Ct., caller reports sick raccoon, officers located and disposed of.

3:54 pm Executive Parkway, Caller reports a suspicious person in the area.  Unable to locate.

 9:56 pm Cleveland Avenue, assist other agency with foot chase.  Officers recovered a gun however suspect was able to get away.
