Weekend Police Activity April 3-4-5, 2015


12:50 pm Paris Blvd. North Caller reports harassment via text message. No report wanted.

1:33 pm Natalie Ct. Officers located and arrested 19 year old Ian Thomas of Westerville,  identified as the driver of a hit skip crash that occurred on 04/01/15. 

3:44 pm Lakewood Drive, officers were dispatched to assist other agency with a fight.

11:40 pm 161/Rt#3 officers found an intoxicated person in the roadway.  Summons to appear in court issued and subject was released to his wife.

1:51 am Madrid Drive, caller reports suspicious vehicles in the area. Unable to locate.

3:51 am Executive Parkway caller reports barking dog outside.  Officers attempted to make contact with dog owner.  All quiet upon arrival.


12:50 pm Cleveland Avenue, assist other agency on a fight call.  Canceled in route.

1:04 pm Fox Run Rd. assist other agency with serving a summons to appear in court.

7:25 pm Montevideo Drive, make contact with resident to call Genoa Twp PD.  Contact made.

8:57 pm Paris and Vienna juvenile compliant in the roadway.  Officer located and warned.

9:26 pm Morse Road, caller reports her vehicle was just stolen.  She had left vehicle running while she ran into the store.  The vehicle was later located unoccupied.   The vehicle was processed for evidence and returned to owner.

12:06 am Minerva Lake Rd., assist other agency with arrest of a wanted person.

3:11 am Executive Pkwy caller reports a disturbance between two people involving a black Honda vehicle. Further investigation led to the arrest of 22 year old Chaz Varney of Westerville.


11:22 am Westerville & Cooper Roads stopped suspicious vehicle wanted for possible theft that occurred in another area.  Driver stopped and property was returned.

12:04 pm Lakewood Dr., assist other agency with an unruly juvenile. Calm upon arrival.

3:09 pm 161/Sunbury report of a deer struck.  Unable to locate.

6:03 pm Sunbury Road, caller reports shoplifters in the store.  Summons for theft issued.

8:41 pm Hoover Dam parking lot caller reports purse stolen from her vehicle.  Report taken.

1:23 am Jessamine CT. Officer discovered garage door open.  Resident advised.

1:39 am Sunbury Road, disturbance at the business.  This investigation resulted in several warrants issued for the arrest of a subject.

3:01 am Valley Quail Blvd. S assist person getting a ride home.

3:15 am Thrasher Loop, follow up on search for wanted person who caused disturbance at local bar. Person was not found.

4:36 am Magnolia Place, officer observed garage door open.  Contact made with the resident.
