Weekend Police Activity; July 10-12, 2015



9:47am – Report of pry marks on a door at a business on Morse Rd. No entry gained.


11:40am – Report of a suspicious red sedan on Oslo Dr. Area checked, not located.


2:07pm – Solicitors (for a military charity) 2 female, white subjects, without a permit on Scissortail Loop. Located, contacted and advised.


2:10pm – Solicitors for home improvements. 2 male Hispanic subjects, in the area of Thrasher Loop. Area checked, not located.


7:43pm – Report that the front door was kicked in on a vacant house on Bluebonnet Ct. Property management contacted.


9:36pm – Counterfeit bill passed at a business at Sunbury Plaza.


10:15pm – Report of suspicious persons/truck at a vacant house on Bluebonnet Ct. Officers made contact with the repair crew from property management fixing the front door.


10:45pm Report of possible shots in the area of Cubbage Rd. Area checked, nothing located.


Other Friday; 1 open door, 1 parking complaint, 2 well-being checks, 1 non-injury crash, 1 traffic complaint.




2:28am – Customer causing a disturbance at BP (Sunbury and Valley Quail South). Officers arrested one subject for disorderly conduct and OVI and arrested the passenger for outstanding warrants.


5:41am – Report of a burglary attempt in-progress on Cubbage Rd. Male subject attempted entry into a residence through the back door. Entry not gained, fled on foot. Officers made an extensive check of area yards, sheds, etc. not located. Described as a male, white, 5’9” – 6’0”, approx. 200-225 lbs.


12:31pm – Customer causing a disturbance at a Westerville Road car lot.


8:43pm – Injury crash; car into a business on Westerville Rd. (just north of Morse Rd.) Damage to gas line.


9:49pm - Fight at a used car lot on Westerville Rd. Turned out to be between a father and son. No serious injury. Neither wanted to file an assault report.


Other Saturday; 3 open doors found overnight, 1 non-injury crash, 1 custody exchange, 1 domestic dispute.




10:00am – Injury crash; car into the wall at I-270 & SR161. CPD jurisdiction.


2:30pm – Traffic violator stopped on Hempstead Dr. Driver (male, age 22) arrested on outstanding warrants.


2:33pm – Telephone lines down behind Glengary Center.


8:23pm – 9:16 pm – Multiple high water complaints.


Other Sunday; 2 open doors, 1 medical issue, 1 lockout, 1 parking complaint, 1 false alarm, assist other agency, 1 open car door found overnight.


Monday (early morning hours)


1:56am – BTPD Officers observed a suspicious adult person on the lot of a church on Sunbury Rd. Subject said he was just walking to his girlfriend’s house. No violation, no charges.


3:21am BTPD Officers observed a male subject (age 16) walking on Paris Blvd. Transported home and released to parents
