Saturday

1:45 am – Clerk reported that an intoxicated male was trying to steal items from the store at Speeedway (Morse & SR3). Gone on arrival. Area checked.

11:41 pm – Officer found interior light on in a vehicle on Bitterroot Dr. Owner advised.

Other Saturday; 1 stand-by for property, 1 false alarm, 1 juvenile complaint, 1 open door.

Sunday

12:01 am – Report of a female panhandler at Speedway (Morse & SR3). Gone on arrival, area checked.

12:34 am – OVI arrest @ SR3 s/o SR161; Male driver, age 25.

3:32 am – OVI arrest @ Sunbury & Executive. McDonald’s employees reported a car in the drive-thru dragging its bumper and an intoxicated driver. Vehicle had crashed in to a stone wall on Central College Rd. Male driver, age 27.

4:32 pm – Road rage at BP Sunbury & Valley Quail South. Driver pounding on another driver’s window in the lot. Gone on arrival.

5:40 pm – Injury crash; SR3 & Old Dublin-Granville Rd. While on the way to Riverside Hospital for follow-up investigation, BTPD officer came upon a roll-over injury crash at SR315 s/o SR161. Driver trapped. BTPD assisted Sharon Twp & Columbus Police.

Monday (Labor Day)

2:21 am – Report of shots or fireworks heard in the area of Minerva Ave. Area checked, nothing found.

10:37 am – Hit skip; Report of a parked truck on Paris Blvd. that was struck by an unknown vehicle, possibly a red colored vehicle.

11:56 am – Non-injury crash; Sunbury & Executive Parkway.

3:14 pm – Neighbor reported a suspicious person at their neighbor’s house on Paris Blvd. Turned out to be a sales call, invited to the home by the resident.

8:34 pm – Report of a shoplifter at a business at Sunbury Plaza. Gone on arrival.

10:47 pm - Report of shots or fireworks heard in the area of Chester Rd. Area checked, nothing found.

Other Monday; 3 domestic disputes, 1 false alarm, 1 internet scam, 1 loud music.

Tuesday (early morning hours)

2:24 am – OVI arrest @ Sunbury & Colony Dr. Male driver, age 19.

3:32 am – Intoxicated male in a store at Sunbury Plaza. Officer made contact and advised that he call a taxi. He called a taxi.

4:08 am – Another intoxicated male near his vehicle at Sunbury Plaza. Officer advised that he call a taxi. He also called a taxi.
