Police Activity, Thursday January 14, 2016

7:45am - Woodthrush Dr.; parking complaint.  Vehicle was legally parked but not a resident.  Officers left a note in order to contact the driver.

8:04am - Sunbury Plaza; employee requested officer presence to open a business due to a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot.  The business was opened without issue. 

10:40am - Sunbury Woods; reported death of resident.  Investigation continues.    

2:25pm - Paris Blvd.; pet complaint between neighbors.

2:43pm - SR 161 Sunbury Rd.; injury crash.

3:53pm - Sunbury Plaza; dispute between employee and customer.  

6:40pm - Executive Pkwy.; suspicious vehicle, grey Ford Taurus.  Officers located and interviewed the party.  Nothing illegal noted.

6:48pm - SR 161/Sunbury Rd.; report of disabled vehicle.  Vehicle was gone upon officer arrival.

9:22pm - S&M Business Park (Morse Rd.); report of armed robbery attempt.  Suspect was male, black, wearing a mask and showed a handgun.  Clerk also showed a handgun and the suspect fled on foot.  No injuries and no loss reported.  Investigation continues.   

12:40am - Executive Pkwy; suspicious vehicles, grey minivan and gold Buick.  Vehicles were gone on arrival.

4:17am - Dempsey Rd./Cairo Rd.; traffic signal malfunctioning.  Notified Franklin County Engineers Office to coordinate repair. 

OTHER:  2 false alarms, 1 returned runaway juvenile, 2 mutual aid requests (other PDs), 1 vehicle lockout, 1 open garage door (owner notified).
