Police Activity; Wednesday January 27, 2016

9:54 am – Report of multiple cars parked on Woodthrush Drive not being moved or expired plates. Officer responded, tagged vehicle and contacted owner.

10:12 am – Report of a dealer tag stolen off of a vehicle at a used car lot on Westerville Road.

12:45 pm – Parking complaint on Madrid Drive. Officer made contact with vehicle owner.

3:12 pm – Report of a ladder in the roadway on SR161 at I-270. Area checked, not located.

5:36 pm – Caller stated a passing vehicle stopped and an occupant of the vehicle yelled at her on Madrid Drive. Area checked, vehicle not located.

6:24 pm – Report of a suspicious tow truck loitering on Copenhagen Drive. Officer made contact with a repo man…doing what repo men do.

6:33 pm – Driver went into Speedway (Morse and SR3) and left two cell phones on the seat of his car. Phones stolen. Suspect vehicle is a red Dodge Neon. Under investigation.

Thursday (early morning hours)

12:07 am – Report of a woman screaming in the area of Oslo Dr. & Buenos Aires Blvd. Area checked, not located.

12:48 am – BTPD officer made contact with an adult female at Glengary Center. Subject was intoxicated, made suicidal threats and tried to run into traffic on Westerville Road. Officer restrained her and she was transported by Medics to a hospital.

4:16 am – Assist Sharon Twp PD. Caller reported her boyfriend was being held at gunpoint at Sharon Woods Park. Entire park searched; nothing found in the park. Boyfriend was later located in the parking lot of a business on Cleveland Ave. in Columbus. Situation was not as originally reported. Sharon Twp. PD is conducting the follow up.

Other; 1 traffic complaint, 3 false alarms, 1 medical issue.
