Police Activity; Friday October 28, 2016

7:42 am – Report of a suspicious person picking through trash on Schott Road. Dark colored pick-up truck. Area checked, not located.

10:50 am – Traffic safety protection for ODOT crew at SR161 & Buenos Aires Blvd. ODOT upgrading signs and lights in the intersection.

12:47 pm – Officer impounded an abandoned vehicle on Manila Dr.

2:05 pm – Abandoned bike impounded near Sunbury Plaza. Blue/black Huffy brand mountain bike.

3 pm – Non-injury hit/skip crash. Parked car struck in Glengary Center.

3:07 pm – Burglary on Highbrook Court. Rear window entry. Items stolen. Under investigation.

5:39 pm – Barking dog complaint in the area of Santiago Dr. Owner advised.

9:58 pm - Assist Fire Department on a fuel spill at SR3 & I-270.

10:52 pm – Traffic violator at Buenos Aires & Harbin Drive. Male driver, age 23, arrested for active warrants.

11:56 pm – Fight in the parking lot at Glengary Center. Both combatants gone on arrival.

Other; 1 motorist assist, 1 civil dispute.

Saturday (early morning hours)

2:46 am – Caller complained of two loud women smoking in the caller’s front yard on Montevideo Drive. 2 adult women were walking home and stopped to rest and chat. BTPD Officers gave them a ride the rest of the way home.

3:56 am – Clerk at Speedway (Morse and SR3) reported two adult subjects were in the parking lot asking customers for narcotics. BTPD Officers made contact with the two subjects, one male and one female, sitting in a car on the lot. Neither had a valid driver’s license. Transportation arranged.
