Weekend Police Activity; Sept 30, Oct 1-2, 2016

FRIDAY

9:58 pm – Report that a female, adult, white subject knocked on the door of a residence on Valley Quail South and asked for “Bill”. She was told nobody named “Bill” lived there and she walked westbound. Officers checked the area, not located.

12:48 pm – Broken window on a vehicle on Bluebird Court.

2:40 pm – Anonymous caller stated that a male subject wearing a clown mask with a neon green wig was walking near Wilder School. Area checked, not located.

8:52 pm – Report of juveniles trespassing at an abandoned house near Hoover Dam. Checked, juveniles not on the property.

9:07 pm – Report of a panhandler at Sunbury Plaza. Area checked, not located.

10:19 pm – Caller reported a loud “explosion” at a residence on Cherry Bottom Road. A bullet was found to have been fired through the window. Under investigation.

Other Friday; 1 lockout, 1 juvenile complaint.

SATURDAY

12:45 am – Two male subjects in Ridgewood Park after hours. Officer advised them that the park was closed.

1:03 am – Caller stated doors were locked at Speedway (Morse & SR3), and the person inside was not wearing a Speedway uniform. Subject turned out to be the clerk’s boyfriend. Clerk locked the doors while she used the bathroom.

1:58 am – Traffic violator stopped on Morse Rd. Male driver, age 30, arrested for OVI.

4:47 am – Assist other agency (FCSO) at SR161 & Cleveland Ave. Arrest for OVI.

10:36 am – Car fire at Hoover Dam Park.

12:40 pm – Non-injury crash; SR161 & Sunbury Road.

1:16 pm – Report of a male subject swinging swords at Cario & Karikal. Officers located an adult subject with plastic swords.

8:59 pm – Report of an assault between two adult females at a business on Westerville Road. Both parties gone on arrival.

9:20 pm – Report of suspicious activity at Vickers and Hunt Club. Two male adult subjects found loading a trailer. No criminal activity.

10:25 pm – Shoplifter at a business at Sunbury Plaza.

Other Saturday; 1 open garage door found, 1 juvenile complaint, 1 unauthorized use of property, 1 medical issue, 1 civil dispute.

SUNDAY

7:10 pm – BTPD Officers dispatched to OSU Hospital on a report of a sexual assault. Determined to have occurred in Columbus. Columbus Police responded.

Other Sunday; 1 traffic complaint, 1 assist other agency (OSHP-OVI), 1 threats, 1 open door, 1 parking complaint, 2 domestic disputes, 1 loud party (advised).

MONDAY (early morning hours)

12:58 am – Assault on Harbin Place.  Male assaulted a female and smashed the window of her car. Victim refused to press charges. Male subject, age 40, arrested for disorderly conduct and transported to jail.

2:44 am – BTPD Officer observed 3 adults walking in the area of Buenos Aires & Stockholm. One male subject, age 25, had an active arrest warrant. Arrested and turned over to the Grandview Heights PD.
