Police Activity; November 23-24, 2016

WEDNESDAY November 23

1:32 pm – Non-injury crash; Dempsey & SR3.

3:49 pm – Loose dogs on Sunwood Place. Owner located.

5:47 pm – Report of a male pedestrian in the roadway at Sunbury & Valley Quail North. Located. He was walking on the sidewalk.

8:32 pm – BTPD Officer checked an abandoned car at SR3 & I-270. Recovered stolen.

11:30 pm – New Albany police in pursuit of a stolen vehicle suspected in a robbery. Suspect vehicle crashed at SR161 & Sunbury Road. BTPD & NAPD arrested four juveniles. One transported by medics. Additional drug charges.

Other Wednesday; 1 false alarm, 4 traffic complaints, 1 dispute, 1 civil dispute, 2 lockouts, 2 domestic disputes.

THURSDAY November 24

1:10 am – Met CPD at Blendon Square Apartments. Male subject, age 49, arrested on a warrant for sexual assault charges out of an incident that occurred in Columbus.

1:45 am – Non-injury crash; SR161 e/o Sunbury Road. In Columbus jurisdiction.

9:05 – Non-injury crash; SR161 & I-270.

1:40 pm – Report of a wrong-way driver on I-270. Area checked, not located.

Other Thursday; 1 domestic dispute, 1 assist other agency (MPPD), 1 assist other agency (FCSO), 1 well-being check,

FRIDAY November 25 (early morning hours only)

1:39 am – Suspicious person checked at a closed business on Westerville Road. No charges.

2:19 am – Report of a couple in a car on Harbin Place honking the horn. Contacted and advised to go inside.

3:06 am – Report of a wrong-way driver on SR161. BTPD officer located the vehicle, stopped it, and charged the driver, male (age 51) with the violation and for having no driver’s license.
