Police Activity; Thursday February 4, 2016

12:58 pm – At the request of the Minerva Park Police Department, BTPD officers assisted in the search for a non-indigenous primate reported to have been observed in the area of Lakewood Drive. Area checked, not located.

3:40 pm – Business owner reported a suspicious vehicle on the lot of his business on Westerville Road. Assisted caller in contacting the vehicle owner.

5:27 pm – Road rage; SR3 & I-270. Female driver yelling at a male driver. Female got out and tried to open the male’s door. Female pulled the handle off of the door. Officers arrived. Male did not want to file charges. Female driver agreed to pay for the door handle.

5:27 pm – Report of an unwanted customer at a business on Morse Road. Previously “banned”. Clerk told the customer to leave. Customer refused, argument ensued. Customer gone on police arrival.

6:26 pm – Caller reported two strange men sitting in a vehicle on Buenos Aries Blvd. Officer made contact. One of the men was a resident.

10:22 pm – Caller reported a vehicle doing donuts in the parking lot of a church on Paris Blvd. Officer made contact. Driver stated he was not doing donuts but had just purchased the car and was teaching himself how to drive a standard transmission.

Friday (early morning hours)

11:02 pm – Caller reported a man breaking a car window on Abington Road. Responding BTPD officers located and arrested a male subject (age 40). Charged with criminal damaging, aggravated menacing and disorderly conduct.

Other; 1 juvenile complaint, 2 false alarms.
