Police Activity; Wednesday March 16, 2016

6:43am - 10:07 am; Traffic control detail. All lanes of SR161 closed just west of Buenos Aires Blvd due to a fatal crash. Male driver, age 67, pronounced at the scene by Medics.

12:14 pm – Suspicious teal-colored car on Paris Blvd. Area checked, not located.

4:51 pm – Report of an aggressive German Shepherd loose on Minerva Ave. Dog returned home on its own. Owner located and cited.

5:04 pm – Lawn furniture stolen from in front of a business at Sunbury Plaza. Suspect is male, white and driving an older green pick-up truck.

8:10 pm – Report of a suspicious green pick-up truck on Ravine Drive. Area checked, not located.

8:24 pm - Report of a suspicious green Cadillac on Camellia Court. Area checked, not located.

Other; 1 telecommunications harassment, 1 traffic complaint, 1 false alarm.

Thursday (early morning hours)

2:37 am – Resident heard a strange noise on East Walnut St. Possibly a car door. Area checked, nothing suspicious located.

4:13 am – Caller retuned home and found pry marks on his rear door on Harbin Court. No loss and no entry gained. Unknown when it happened. Neighbor stated that they saw someone with a flashlight and heard strange noises in the area the previous evening around 9pm but did not call police.
