Weekend Police Activity; April 22-23-24, 2016

Friday

9:50 am – Domestic dispute at Sunbury Plaza. Called in by a third party. Male and female screaming at each other. Gone on arrival. Area checked, not located.

9:43 pm – Report of robbery at Buenos Aires and SR161. Reporting party stated that he was robbed of his hover-board at gunpoint. Subject was described as an unknown male, black in a white 4 door vehicle. Under investigation.

Other Friday; 1 false alarm, 1 telemarketer complaint, 1 traffic complaint, 1 ATV complaint.

Saturday

1:18 am – Suspicious male and female walking on Paris Blvd. Officer made contact, no violation.

3:51 am – Traffic violation at SR161 & Buenos Aires Blvd. Driver (male, age 36) arrested for OVI.

7:10 am – Report of a male subject passed out at the wheel of a white, Nissan at SR161 & SR3. Area checked, not located.

8:40 am – Road rage in the drive thru lane at McDonald’s Sunbury Plaza. Both cars gone on arrival.

9:50 am – Non-injury crash; Central College & Cubbage.

1:39 pm – Report of a suspicious person in the area of Huber Ridge School; middle aged, male, white in Khaki shorts and baggy, white hooded sweatshirt. Female juvenile subject thought he might have been following her. Under investigation.

4:28 pm – Non-injury crash; Valley Quail South & Sunbury.

11:48 pm - Suspicious male and female walking on Paris Blvd. Officer made contact, no violation.

Other Saturday; 2 open garage doors found, 3 lockouts, 1 domestic dispute, 1 loud music, 1 parking complaint, 1 false alarm.

Sunday

1:08 am – Vehicle driving randomly through Huber Ridge. Made contact. Subjects did not live in the area and were not visiting anyone. No chargeable offense.

1:42 am – Former employee implied he had a gun and yelled at current employees at McDonald’s Sunbury Plaza. Male subject (age 33) arrested for inducing panic. Did not have a firearm.

2:22 am – Non-injury crash; On the lot of Speedway (Morse & SR3).

2:45 am – Officer made contact with a male subject walking through Huber Ridge. No violation.

2:58 am - Officer made contact with a different male subject walking through Huber Ridge. No violation.

3:31 am – Officer made contact with a male subject, dressed in black on a bicycle with no lights, on Sunbury n/o Valley Quail North. Subject was on his way to Hoover Dam to fish. Subject advised to stay off the streets at night until lights are on his bike.

3:35 am – Traffic violator stopped at SR161 & SR3. Male driver (age 27) arrested for outstanding traffic warrants.

4:19 am – Officer made contact with two male subjects sitting in a car on Bolamo Dr. Visiting a neighbor. Confirmed with resident.

4:40 am - Officer made contact with one male subject sitting in a car on Mexico Ave. Dispatch delivery.

4:55 am - Officer made contact with one male subject sitting in a car on Panama Dr. Visiting a neighbor.

5:10 am – Officer made contact with three male subjects in a vehicle driving randomly through Huber Ridge. Stopped for a traffic violation. Straightened coat hanger and tools in plain view. Subjects gave a street name they were visiting that does not exist in Huber Ridge. Subjects consented to a search. No stolen property found. Driver issued a traffic ticket and all released.

12:51 pm – Report of a blind man at Dempsey & Hempstead walking near the roadway. Area checked, not located.

5:16 pm – Non-injury crash; Sunbury Plaza.

5:36 pm – Report of two subjects sitting in vehicle at Walnut & Cubbage possibly using drugs. Officer made contact, no evidence of drug use.

11:53 pm – Two persons in a car at Ridgewood Park. Advised that park was closed.

Other Sunday; 4 open garage doors found, 2 assist other agency (WPD, suspicious persons/vehicle), assist other agency (CPD crash), 1 parking complaint, 2 traffic complaints, 1 stand-by for property, 1 juvenile complaint.

Monday (early morning hours)

12:12 am – Traffic violator on Lima Dr. Driver (male, age 28) charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

1:31 am – Suspicious car with two persons onboard on Harbin Dr. eluded a FCSO Deputy. All officers in the area on the lookout. Same vehicle stopped later and cited for a traffic offense by Westerville Police.

1:38 am – Officer made contact with two subjects sitting in a car on Woodvale Court. “just talking”.

1:49 am – Dome light found on in a vehicle on Woodvale Ct. Owner advised, accidental.

3:35 am – Back up Minerva Park PD on a disturbance at the group home on Lakewood Dr.

4:04 am – Back up Minerva Park PD on an assault at the group home on Lakewood Dr.
