Weekend Police Activity; June 10-11-12, 2016

Friday

10:54 am – Report of theft from a business at Sunbury Plaza.

1:05 p m – Backup Minerva Park PD on a pair of shoplifters at a business on Cleveland Ave.

8:18 pm – Injury crash; I-270 & SR3.

11:35 pm – Report of a male subject dancing in his underwear at Speedway (Morse & SR3). With FCSO. Possession of drug abuse instruments and resisting arrest. Transported to jail.

Other Friday; 3 false alarms, 1 threats, 1 assault (between roommates), 1 motorist assist (car seat installation), 1 domestic dispute, 1 lost motorist, 1 lockout.

Saturday

1:34 am – Motorcycle riders driving reckless in the parking lot at Glengary Center and making threats to employees of a bar. Area checked, not located.

2 am – Report of two suspicious males in the parking lot of a church on Cleveland Ave. Area checked, not located.

2:29 am - Report of two suspicious males knocking on a door on Kilbourne Ave. Area checked, not located.

3:36 am – Report of a male white subject and a female black subject stealing from cars on Highbrook Court. Subjects fled on foot to their getaway car which was parked on Acapulco Place. BTPD Officers intercepted them on Acapulco Place and attempted to order them out of the car, the subjects failed to comply and fled eastbound on SR161. BTPD gave chase and terminated the chase when it became too dangerous to continue. Subjects got away with a pair of sunglasses stolen from a car on Highbrook Court. Under investigation.

11:29 am – Kids on a mini-bike on Manila Dr. Officer made contact with a babysitter. Will follow up with parents.

11:47 am – Injury crash; East Walnut St.

12:29 pm – Report of a suspicious male subject at Speedway (Morse & SR3). Area checked, not located.

4:30 pm – Back up Sharon Twp. PD on a large fight at Sharon Woods Park.

5:17 pm – Back up Minerva Park PD. Traffic stop on a stolen car.

6-8 pm - Summer concert in Ridgewood Park.

11:07 pm – Report of two suspicious females in a yard on Bolamo Dr. Officer made contact with persons inside the house at a gathering. Nobody outside on police arrival.

Other Saturday; 1 domestic dispute, 1 lockout, 2 false alarms, 1 well-being check.

Sunday

12:57 am – Female adult subject on a bike at Cherokee Rose and Valley Quail North. Advised not to ride at night without a light.

9:55 am – Report of a man sitting in a van on Vienna Dr. Locksmith making a key.

2:29 pm - Report of 4 male subjects smoking behind a vacant house on Abington Road. BTPD made contact and advised them to leave.

3:26 PM – Purse stolen out a shopping cart at Sunbury Plaza while the caller was loading groceries. No suspect description. Under investigation.

7:04 pm – Despondent male caller said he was going to jump off of Hoover Dam. Officers located him at the park and talked him into going to the hospital with Medics.

9:01 pm - Report of damage to a car at Sunbury Plaza.

Other Sunday; 1 threat, 1 open window found, 1 open door found, 2 lockouts, 1 medical issue.

Monday (early morning hours)

12:37 am – 6 subjects fishing without a license at Hoover Dam. Advised to depart.

1:14 am – Car parked in the grass on Cubbage Rd. nobody around.

1:20 am – Male subject walking in Hoover Dam Park. Advised that the park was closed.

2:03 am – Report of shots fired on Highbrook Ct. Several subjects on the scene. One subject arrested for driving a stolen truck. Shooter had already fled. Handgun not recovered. Several shell casings recovered. No injuries reported and no damage located. Under investigation.
