Thursday (July 14, 2016)

3:25 pm – Non-injury crash; Karikal Dr.

4:11 pm – Non-injury crash; I-270 & Cleveland Ave. Held the scene for CPD.

6:14 pm – Solicitor on Carnation Dr. Area checked, not located.

10:53 pm – BTPD Officers made contact with a suspicious person behind a closed business on Morse Rd. No charges.

Other Thursday; 1 parking complaint, 2 false alarms, 1 medical issue, 1 assist other agency (WPD), 1 death investigation (no foul play suspected).

Friday (July 15, 2016)                                                   

2:14 pm – Report of a boy’s bike stolen from a residence on Bogota Dr. 5-speed Mongoose believed to be taken between 10 am – 12:30 pm this date.

3:05 pm – Injury crash; Hempstead & Gentlewind.

5:17 pm – Injury crash; SR3 & I-270. Damage to traffic signal pole. ODOT responded and repaired traffic signal.

11:25 pm – Over 20 Pokémon players advised to leave Hoover Dam Park.

11:47 pm – Four Pokémon players advised to leave Ridgewood Park.

Other Friday; 1 stand-by for property, 1 telephone harassment, 1 civil dispute, 2 domestic violence (incidents not related, both cleared by arrest).

Saturday (July 16, 2016)

1:46 am – Fatal crash; SR161 & Buenos Aires Blvd. Female motorcycle passenger (age 45) pronounced at the scene, male motorcycle operator transported to hospital in critical condition. Vehicle driver remained at the scene. FCSO Accident Investigation Squad is conducting the investigation.

5:26 am – Report of two suspicious males walking in the middle of the road at Sunbury & Valley Quail South. Area checked, not located.

10:21 am – Lost adult at Sunbury Plaza. Officer gave him a ride to his requested destination in Columbus.

10:44 am – Report of an abandoned refrigerator at Carnation & Beauty Rose. Officer made contact with the resident. New fridge was delivered, no room on truck for the old one. Officer made sure it was in a safe condition. Truck returned a short time later and took it away.

6-8pm – Free Summer Concert in Ridgewood Park.

7:52 pm – Female adult reported that a male white subject in a white car followed her from Sunbury Plaza to her home in Columbus. She did not get a license plate number. Area checked, not located. Reporting party advised to call CPD if she saw him again near her home and to call BTPD if she saw him again near Sunbury Plaza.
