Police Activity; Wednesday July 27, 2016

12:16 pm – Assist Westerville Police. Bicyclist struck by a hit-skip driver at Sunbury & Walnut. Assisted searching the area for the suspect vehicle.

1 pm – German shepherd running loose on Panama Dr. Dog found in a backyard. Animal Control responded.

2:08 pm – Injury crash; SR161 & Sunbury Rd.

8:20 pm – Report of a suspicious male subject walking on Abington Rd. Area checked, not located.

11:55 pm – Two female subjects (adult & juvenile) at the water’s edge at Hoover Reservoir, with vodka, drug paraphernalia and marijuana. Adult (age 22) charged. Juvenile released to parent.

Other; 2 civil disputes, 2 traffic complaints, 1 custody dispute.

Thursday (early morning hours)

12:57 am – Female adult caller on Cleveland Avenue reported that she was struck on the head and threatened with a gun. Further, that the male suspect (ex-boyfriend) threatened to kill her and her family and to kill himself. Responding BTPD Officers located and arrested the ex-boyfriend (age 21) nearby, and recovered a handgun. Transported to jail.

2:08 am – Disturbance at a bar at Glengary Center. Customer refusing to leave. Resolved without arrest. Customer given a ride home.
