Police Activity; Wednesday July 6, 2016

1:06 pm – Non-injury crash; Sunbury & SR161.

1:25 pm - Non-injury crash; Sunbury & Executive Parkway.

3:54 pm – Report of a solicitor near Oslo & Stockholm. Located & advised.

4:41 pm – Executive Parkway; Baby accidentally locked in car with keys inside. Officer was able to quickly unlock the car, baby unharmed, no distress.

6:07 pm – Delivered package opened on Manitou Dr. Nothing taken. Postal service notified.

6:41 pm – Mailbox rummaged through on Manitou Dr. Envelope ripped in half. To resident’s knowledge nothing was taken. Postal Service notified.

8:44 pm – Report of suspicious person in Hoover Dam Park. Area checked, unable to locate.

8:53 pm – Report of a suspicious person at the dead end of Lee Rd. Officer made contact. Subject had land owner’s permission.

11:04 pm – Suspicious person reported driving around Sunbury Woods repeatedly passing the callers house for about 20 minutes. Caller thought driver might be intoxicated. Located the vehicle. Driver is a resident, not intoxicated, just driving around.

11:57 pm – Officer observed three teenagers walking on East Walnut Street. Subjects were not going to make it home on time. Officer gave them a ride.

Other; 1 forgery.

Thursday (early morning hours)

2:22 am – BTPD Officer observed a Husky dog loose at Dempsey & Cairo. BTPD Officer called Animal Control who responded with a chip reader. Dog’s chip was scanned and the dog was returned to its owner who lived nearby.

3:34 am – BTPD Officer made contact with an adult male subject on Paris Blvd. Subject said he was just playing a video game on his phone. No violation.

6:23 am – Report of a female panhandler at Speedway (SR3 & Dempsey). Area checked, not located.
