UPDATE: Dangerous Dog

Original Incident: Friday July 1, 6:04 pm – Juvenile bitten by a Great Dane on Caracas Dr. Child transported to hospital by Medics. Animal control officer responded for the dog.

Updated Information: The dog, a Great Dane, at 3714 Caracas Drive, has been determined, by Franklin County Animal Control, to be a "dangerous dog" and is on a 10-day home quarantine. It can't leave the property and must be on a leash when outside, even in its own yard. Our officers are keeping a close watch on the property. The owner was charged with multiple violations and is pending a court date at which time the judge may order the restrictions increased or decreased. We plan on having an officer present at the arraignment to voice our (and our resident's) concerns. In the meantime, anyone who observes the dog in violation of the quarantine order should call us immediately at 614.889.9494
