Weekend Police Activity; August 5-6-7, 2016


8:02 am – Report of a lawn mower stolen from an open garage on Paris Blvd.

3:55 pm – Report of a panhandler at SR3 & Dempsey Rd. Area checked, unable to locate.

11:23 pm – Report of a fight at a bar at Sunbury Plaza. On arrival all was calm. Patrons reported that the combatants had left. Area checked, not located.

Other Friday; 2 juvenile complaints, 1 assist other agency (MPPD), 1 medical issue, 1 traffic complaint, 1 identity theft, 1 threats.


12:38 am – Car and occupants locked in at Hoover Dam Park. Unlocked the gate and advised about park hours.

1:50 am – Report of a male subject assaulting a pregnant female at Sunbury Plaza. Verified by witnesses that the male was trying to break up a fight between the pregnant female and another female.

2:21 am – Report of a suspicious vehicle at Speedway (SR3 & Morse Rd). Area checked, unable to locate.

2:04 pm – Non-injury crash; Central College & Lee Rd.

11:36 pm – Report of loud explosion on Ulry Road. Responded with Fire Department. Area checked, all appeared okay.

Other Saturday; 1 parking complaint, 1 unauthorized credit card charges, 1 missing toddler (found), 1 false alarm.


12:25 am – Report of smoke on Purplefinch Ct. Area checked, not located.

12:29 am – Report of natural gas smell on SR3. Responded with Fire Department. Area checked, all appeared okay.

1:12 am – Resident on Westerville Rd. wanted the home checked for a possible intruder. Residence checked, nothing found.

1:34 pm - Burglary to a residence on Kilbourne Ave.

3:09 pm – Hit-skip non-injury crash; Sunbury Road.

4:50 pm – Assault between known parties on Highbrook Court. Neither party wanted to file charges.

5:39 pm – Report of solicitors on Mexico Ave. Located and advised.

Other Sunday; 1 medical issue, 1 threats, 2 domestic disputes.

Monday (early morning hours)

1:06 am - Suspicious car at the church on Buenos Aires Blvd. Door to the church open. Checked church interior and the nearby area, unable to locate anyone. No evidence of theft observed in the church.

Other Monday morning; 1 fireworks complaint, 1 medical issue.
