Police Activity; Tuesday September 6, 2016

9:47 am – Report of a theft from a vehicle overnight on Pelican Place.

12:34 pm – Assist other agency. Westerville Police had a male subject run from them near Dempsey & Hempstead. Subject had an outstanding arrest warrant for burglary. BTPD and Columbus police helicopter helped with the search. Subject not located.

2:14 pm – Used car lot on Westerville Road reported that a test driver never came back with the car.

5:58 pm – Call to 9-1-1; man moaning. Initial location given as Adda Avenue. Later located in Columbus. Medics responded to a medical issue.

6:10 pm – Caller states that while he was under arrest by Columbus Police that his car was repossessed. Further, that when he went to get items from his former car at a car lot on Westerville Road, that the items were gone. Referred to Columbus Police.

Other; 2 parking complaints, 1 domestic dispute, 1 phone scam, 1 text threats, 1 juvenile complaint, 1 medical issue, 1 stalking, 1 stand-by for custody.

Wednesday (early morning hours)

12:08 am – Suspicious vehicle on Natalie Court. Officer made contact with a subject waiting for a resident.

12:47 am – BTPD Officer observed a suspicious vehicle at Mexico & Montevideo. On contact found an adult male & a juvenile male. Adult had 14 outstanding arrest warrants (1 theft and 13 traffic). Adult arrested. Juvenile picked up by a parent.
