Weekend Police Activity; 28-29-30 April 2017

Friday

10:36 am – Non-injury crash; on the lot of a business on Westerville Road.

1:10 pm – Report of a subject walking a pit bull dog with no leash near Huber Ridge School. Area checked, not located.

2:01 pm - Report of a shoplifter at a business of Glengary Center. Subject gone on arrival.

4:45 pm – Report of the theft of items from a vehicle at a business on Morse Road.

5:06 pm – Assist CPD with an injury crash on I-270 at Cooper Road.

7:39 pm – Theft; Caller reports that he bought a gold necklace from a subject in the parking lot at Sunbury Plaza that turned out to be fake. Our BTPD Officer contacted the seller who agreed to return to the scene and give back the money as long as he got the fake necklace back. Cash returned, necklace returned.

8:20 pm – Report of a possible impaired driver at SR3 & SR161. Driver located; was not impaired.

9:28 pm – Non-injury crash; Sunbury & SR161.

Other Friday; 1 well-being check, 2 false alarms, 1 parking complaint.

Saturday

1:24 am – Physical and verbal confrontation between two subjects at Glengary Center. Male subject (age 47) charged and released on a summons.

1:50 pm – Report of standing water in the roadway; SR161 & I-270. Roadway clear.

2:07 pm – Report of a subject walking a dog without a leash at Hoover Dam Park. Caller stated that the dog showed signs of aggression. Officer made contact, dog seemed friendly, owner advised on leash law.

3:09 am – Complaint of a barking dog on Natalie Court. Owner advised.

6:32 pm – Caller states he was assaulted by a known party. Report taken, caller advised how to file charges.

11:18 pm – Report of an injury crash on Triton Court. No injuries. Bug flew in the window and driver panicked and drove up into a yard.

Other Saturday; 3 false alarms, 1 stand-by for custody.

Sunday

7:55 am – Crash; Car vs deer on Central College Road.

11:32 am – Report of items stolen from a vehicle while it was on the lot of a business on Westerville Road.

2:15 pm – Power lines down on Walnutview Drive. Standby for power company.

2:16 pm – Report of a subject threatening to jump off of Hoover Dam. Area checked, not located. Further info received of the subject being in another jurisdiction. Other jurisdiction took over the search.

6:07 pm – Report of panhandlers a SR3 & I-270. Located and advised.

6:37 pm – BTPD Officer stopped a traffic violator at SR3 & Dempsey Road. Driver (female, age 29) arrested for Driving under suspension, Passenger (male, age 29) arrested for an outstanding warrant for burglary parole violation, Passenger (female, age 46) arrested for an outstanding warrant for criminal trespass.

Other Sunday; 3 false alarms, 2 open doors found, 1 assist other agency (BAC), 1 domestic dispute, 1 missing teen (located),.

Monday (early morning hours only)

2:09 am - BTPD Officer stopped a traffic violator at Sunbury & SR161. Male driver (age 19) arrested for driving without a license, female passenger (juvenile) arrested for outstanding warrants.
